What's the plan? Reworked Birmingham New Street

I believe the coloured lounges are going to be similar to the platform 13/14 lounge at Manchester Piccadilly, whereby you wait in the lounge until your train is ready to board

    Caledonian Sleeper discussion

A pedantic correction but the loss will be to Calefonian Sleeper not Scotrail. Also people keep saying return it to Scotrail if they'll take it - You're assuming that Abellio would run it the same as First; the fact is Abellio have never had it and may not do any better.

    Station pronunciation

It's Celia Drummond isn't it? A very old style recording! There was uproar (apparently) when she used to announce at Birmingham New Street due to her pronunciation of some local stations and ALL of the Welsh stations!

Allocation to derby to Crewe line query

On a recent Sunday the 1429 SOT to Derby was formed of a 158+153, normally on a weekday it is formed of a single 153. Surely there will be more use on a weekday? Kind of related I'm sure I've heard of or seen pictures of 180's or even a HST on this route - can anyone confirm?
