i have ordered my tickets on demand however both machines are out of service was told to get on train and now been told to sort it out at Victoria. I am worried about being fined can it be sorted out away from The station i ordered them at :'( any help grate fully recieved
You cannot use Oyster pay as you go on:
Heathrow Express
Heathrow Connect between Hayes and Harlington and Heathrow
Southeastern High Speed services.
You can use Oyster to pay as you go on all other services. Hope this helps
Why was there no public consultation when off-peak cash fares were withdrawn from 2nd January and also now unable to break journeys without having to pay twice.
Could someone tell me how much a New Deal off peak day return from Dartford to Boundary zone 6 would cost, I've tried to buy it from the London Midland website but it wont let me see the price or select it to buy, and if anyone knows if i can buy this before i travel (preferably online) then...
I'd imagine if the ticket says ''any permitted'' and ''not hs1'' then you can.
I myself have bought the Rainham to Ebbsfleet ticket. I probably will ride it again before December but your not missing much its mainly just bumping around in a noisy tunnel.

It is quick, fill out a registration form (even if its already registered) and take that, your railcard and Oyster to the ticket office and it will be done immediately.
You do not need £6.50 on your card to make a journey, you could just have the minimum fare from that station and it will let...

I'm assuming no TOC's will retail Oyster at more of their stations, simply so they can massively reduce ticket office hours or close them completely, anyone else see that happening?
London Overground stations now have ticket machines the DLR uses, however you cant top up oyster from them yet. I imagine these machines will be used when the ELL re-opens.
Just bought an off-peak return for travel on Wednesday from Chatham Kent to Bromley South and was advised i can use it after 9am. I assumed it was after 10am but was told it was for any train scheduled to arrive in London after 10am.
