I too have heard that about exam certificates becoming obselete. If you look at adverts for jobs the majority are more interested in experience, as opposed to GCSE grades, anyway. Makes sense though really, they'll probably change the exam system at some point and GCSEs will be old hat.

You could always wait until next year and apply for the NR apprenticeship again, at least you will know what to expect next time and can prepare a bit better.

If ever I'm on a HST I always go and wait by the door early when it's getting towards the station so I get to open it! Sad I know :wink:
