I kind of get that point, but even if they never ventured off those routes, I would have thought it would be extra work to remove the unneeded routes form the system.
This didn't really occur to me, flash storage is cheap for a while. Unless it's an old system they are running. Maybe someone...

It is pretty simple. It didn’t go as expected. The reasons I didn’t go into, but they are valid. However, this doesn’t change the fact it was a failure.

They are. They procured them for a specific purpose and many aren’t serving that purpose. They haven’t been in service long either.
The business plan (assuming there was one) didn’t pan out. I wouldn’t call that a success.

Purely based on a heap of them are longer on the route they were brought in for. If looks they have had to move them to make them commercially viable.
I am surprised to see a Witchway now pained in Burnley Colours (with Manchester branding). Looks like the batch of Sky Class buses was a flop.
