Not necessarily. I travel to York a lot en-route to other places, but rarely leave the station to use the city.

Excluding your most local station, or commuting starting/finishing location, which is your most visited station - and is there a particularly reason why? For example - someone living just outside York (near Ullskelf) travels to Doncaster for work each day - but goes to Leeds at least three...

Couldn't imagine Thurso with one - just doesn't fit! It's a quirky old place! Could never live there, but it is one of those places that when I visit I struggle to say goodbye to easily!

I've travelled on the Far North Line several times to Thurso - it's always had a decent number of passengers. I can't see it will be closed - I imagine that would cause an absolute uproar - it wasn't that long since they opened a new station (Conon Bridge)

Think I've probably hit a break in travel fir a few weeks! But another 24 journeys of 99 miles, plus another 8 trips probably totalling another 1400 miles mean I'll not be far off 10000 miles so far in a year where I had no plans of doing probably more than 1000-1500 miles! I blame emergencies...
