Trivia - most visited station

Excluding your most local station, or commuting starting/finishing location, which is your most visited station - and is there a particularly reason why?

For example - someone living just outside York (near Ullskelf) travels to Doncaster for work each day - but goes to Leeds at least three times a week to meet friends, the gym and their local snooker club.....

Mine would at the moment be Cottingham, which I am attending regularly with my wife for her physio treatment at the hospital. Before the end of July, I think I had been there twice!! Other than that, it would be Accrington to visit family.

Tutbury and Hatton, just because the fares are good value to the north west rather than pay XC prices.

Over my lifetime, it'll be one that WAS my local but no longer is. Probably Taunton or Ormskirk, because when I lived in the Kingston-on-Thames area I had a choice of 3 stations (Kingston, Surbiton and Hampton Court). These days it's definitely Huddersfield, as my local is Batley, commuting destination is Dewsbury. Huddersfield is used for football matches and as either interchange or disembarking for buses when visiting family. Dewsbury also gets used on those journeys, but is invalid for this thread.

Probably Kings Cross. I use St. Neots to begin most of my journeys, but I often swap to Cambridge for a plethora of reasons. So Kings Cross is the one shared point between them. Or maybe Purley, if I'm down at the Weatherspoons there

I have to travel to either Lincoln (by train) or Hull (by bus) to get cheaper travel from Grimsby. It's becoming rarer and rarer that I can afford train travel, now it's only every two or three months for family visits, next year I probably won't travel by train after the next price hike to stand on a crowded 153.
Five years ago I got the train to Doncaster or Barton at every chance, but the poor reliabillity makes Barton by train pointless.

I don't commute, but travel is most often to Nottingham to see my Greek sister in law. Or towards Scarborough for seaside trips. Sheffield, Newark Castle, Rotherham Central, Filey, Beeston, Derby, Meadowhall, are the only other places visited in the last two years by train for me.

Liverpool Central or Preston are probably the most visited stations when I was a kid.

Manchester Victoria for me, I get the tram to Victoria from Radcliffe and the train to Blackpool to visit my father. I have always lived in north Manchester and Victoria is handy for visiting friends and relatives in Wigan and Bolton as well as Southport for a day out. Maybe its a bit strange but if I'm travelling further afield where there is no direct service, say to Glasgow- then I will book my journey from Victoria and change trains, I just love the place.

So leaving aside Milton Keynes Central and London Euston, it's probably Oxford which I use quite a lot to launch trips from after going there on the X5.

Cheddington would also rank highly as my favourite spotting location, and Birmingham New Street is frequently a train changing stop for me too. I also frequently use London St. Pancras for journeys to Brighton and other destinations in Sussex and Kent.

Easy: Birmingham Snow Hill. Then Birmingham New Street, Willington (well, someone has to) and Burton-on-Trent in that order (the last two travelling to/from boat mooring).

Not necessarily. I travel to York a lot en-route to other places, but rarely leave the station to use the city.

Then for me it's probably Glasgow Central/Queen Street. 80% of my train journeys are to and from points south of the Central Belt but my Edinburgh connections are split between Waverley and Haymarket.

My local is Leamington Spa and I don't commute but, excluding Leamington, it's got to be Birmingham Moor Street for me although Snow Hell and New Street would also be very high.

My local is Stalybridge, commuting currently into central Manchester.
Those excepted my most visited is probably Beckenham Junction as I have an aunt, an uncle and a family friend living there.
