    List of railway services?

The point that @The exile is making is that there's one a day that starts at Fratton

    Troon Station Fire (17/07/2021)

That's the mod quoting the last post for the purpose of reopening the thread - it isn't actually the new update

Stagecoach North Scotland (Bluebird and Highland)

That proposed timetable for the 35 seems like insanity - 5hrs 30 minute runs from Aberdeen to Inverness, with what looks like a 17 minute turnaround at Inverness.

    McGill's Buses - Renfrewshire & Inverclyde

And how many of those people that work in Largs are looking to come from somewhere only served by train? (Also, to your final sentence, good luck justifying an 08:00 arrival at Mallaig)

    McGill's Buses - Renfrewshire & Inverclyde

How much demand is there for arrival at Largs before 08:00? I'd guess at very close to zero.

    McGill's Buses - Renfrewshire & Inverclyde

"Destroying the Ayrshire lines timetable" - that's quite the exaggeration - the Largs trains are only 6 minutes slower than they were a couple of weeks ago (59 minutes vs 1hr 05 minutes). And a Largs to Glasgow express bus would, by sticking together the times for the 904 Largs - Beith (35...

    Belgium rail ideas

I've actually just come back from Brussels. I had loco hauled stock on my train from Charleroi to Brussels (it carried on to Antwerp), and from Brussels to Brussels Airport (I think it might have come from Oostende). There's also plenty of late 70s trams (I found them on route 51 from Brussels...

    Passenger Dogs

Which ones charge? I know Avanti, LNER, Scotrail, XC, Northern, TPE, TfW, LNWR, SWR and LO definitely don't charge, and I travel with some pretty big dogs

    First Greater Glasgow

I'm pretty sure that this isn't right. I'm sure I've bought network day tickets on the 77 in the past, travelling from the Airport.

Doubt about some closed lines between Reading and Oxford for a trip from Leamington Spa - Manchester Piccadilly

You're correct that Reading and Oxford come before Leamington. However, there's a less frequent service running between Oxford and Manchester than usual - they're running approximately every two hours instead of every hour. You can probably expect your train to be very busy.

I'm not sure where you're judging that on - they load quite well coming out of Johnstone

    Football

And it's an absolute cracker of a match at Dens Park - 3-3 at half times - both teams have had the lead, with Queens Park equalising on the brink of half time.

    McGill's Buses - Renfrewshire & Inverclyde

The massive reduction to the 32 (Johnstone - Kilbarchan) hasn't gone down well here, although I am hearing vaguely positive things from those around me about the re-established link between Johnstone Castle and the RAH.

You can buy a via Carlisle ticket, then get it excessed to a via York at a ticket office.

I know of two trains a day that run from Nottingham via Melton Mowbray avoiding Leicester. You also have Bottesford station which is in Leicestershire.
