I'd have loved to see screenshots as i've not installed OpenTTD in years!
I actually made an East Anglia map using DEM data and the like, I think it was quite popular at the time. Still made a mess of GEML mind. Must be a doomed network.
It's great having the thunderbird back at Colchester. The noise it makes outside the depot office gets a bit irritating though. Sounds like an angry duck.
So that is the proper livery, same as the hauled sets? So the fully white with red doors the 321's have may change in future? I'd love to see a 321 in that 317 livery.
In fact i'd love to see the 360's in the livery. They deserve a change along with an interior refresh.
448 is having problems again. Been hiding in Ilford a while.. back out now but I believe it's too heavy so can't run on it's own. Weight from the AC units I think.
Any 37 action yet?
Or when are the 47's running? are the 1VXX headcodes that run LST-GYM 47's? Or does the 47 only take over at Norwich (which makes more sense when I actually think about it). I'm thinking of going upto Gt Yarmouth maybe tomorrow (From Colchester).
I'm at the end of my training and one of the other guys is 54. Also one of the current drivers who just passed out earlier this year is also 54..
So sounds like a good age to me ;)
I've just finished my months of training. Friday was my last day with an instructor and on Tuesday I start my 3 day assessment with my manager... Then i'll be passed out. What an odd thought, thinking back to before I had the job and the months I spent on these forums researching and hoping to...
I think gangways on the front of trains makes them look more dated than they are. EMU's seem to age better without them. A refurbed 321 won't look that much older than a 360, where as say a 317 looks quite ancient imo.
As a GA employee who only drives EMUs/DMUs If travelling on the network I avoid what I drive at all costs and always take a hauled set (if possible). The seats are comfier compared to the 360's thin cushioning, you dont feel as clastrophobic (often find that with enclosed MU's), you get more...
