Hi, Is anyone aware if East Mids recruit trainee drivers? A cursory search is brining up no results. Yes, I have asked the horses mouth so to speak, but as of yet I have had no response. Cheers guys.

I fully understand it. Sadly, I was completing my application whilst out the country. The fact that I've been doing this when I should've been relaxing is probably where my frustration arises. Perhaps it shows a genuine desire? Or inability to switch off?

That's novel. Early closure, fine, but changing the date implies ineffective time management by the applicant. Oh well. I may send it in anyway.... Even if it's discarded, theres always another opportunity. Perhaps in a year.....

I have to agree with echodelta 31. This is my first application to a TOC and as another coming from a police officer background, I'm expecting that I will have to learn from this experience in order to secure a driving role in the future. Fingers crossed everyone

Well I hope that's not the case, but I can understand it. It would've been nice to have it stated on application. Now, if I fail the paper sift, that's one thing, but not knowing if it's down to current residential location, that'd be a tad irritating.
