Thanks Bob and is there a way to tell the 756 and 231's apart from the 231's having 4 diesel engines and the 756's having 1 diesel engine and 3 battery rafts, albeit wired as four battery sets connected to each traction motor.

Are TfW expecting 11 231's and 7 3-cars 756's and 17 4-cars Also do we know when the first 756's are due. Last i heard one was on test in Hungary.

Looks like the first TfW 756 has made an appearance in Hungary. Presumably in the commissioning process of vehicle technical tests and authority checks on the Gyor-Hegyeshalom line. I wonder when we’ll see the first one in Wales. They look so similar to the 231’s Photo courtesy of an Andi Rauter

I noticed the runs have changed today to 9Rxx from the 3Rxx previously and now showings as run by TfW rather than GBRF
