Thank you for the information! Hmm, I wonder what counts as a TOC? Technically, GTR is a single TOC, but GBR will keep the separate Southern (which has already been done), Thameslink, and Great Northern brands. I presume that Thameslink and Great Northern might get their own units in GBR livery...

It seems that those regions getting the GBR livery are those where Network Rail have been integrated with the TOCs, I believe, to form the structures which will be like how GBR ends up - Southern, South Western, and Anglia. Are there any other regions where Network Rail has been integrated with...

I suppose that the four-tracking around the area as part of East West Rail is intended to help with this, within about a decade’s time?

I think it was because Ilford Depot, or Greater Anglia’s other facilities for them, can’t deal with servicing single sets as long as 10 cars.

I’ve just noticed the magenta hand-rail on the inside of the cab of the Class 357 - what colour will the hand-rails for the GBR livery eventually be? I guess we might have to wait for the first new-build stock in the livery to see.

There are still quite a few dark-blue-and-white National Express-era c2c liveried Class 357s, so I presume that they will go straight into the GBR livery from now on, rather than the magenta livery which they were going into until now, so I suppose this will be the fleet which gets the most...
