So like others I've had the email saying high standard interview and I'm in the pool shall we say. I hope I hear within 12 months. Pleased as punch and just need to remain as patient as one can. Waiting to join Reading.

I've been patient and with work being busy I was surprised to find out I have my final interview next week at Reading. Wow. Looking forward to it immensely.

I've been invited to the first assessment, logged onto the site to book but no dates come up, has this happened to others?

I applied last August, was told I had passed the application and was told I'd be invited for a test etc, it all went quiet. I called personnel the other day and was told I may hear some more about potential dates from March onwards....

Well done. I hope I get the chance one day, have applied for Strawberry Hill trainee driver role. 14th of Feb was the cut off date for applications, rang this week told my application has got through the first stage but no date for an assessment. Just got be patient and keep my fingers...

I'm 42 and I got through the previous application but had to pull out as I couldn't get the day off my work and there was no other days available for assessment. I doubt its age. Could be distance from depot? I've reapplied for this latest drive and awaiting shortlisting so see how it...

Well that pees me right off, I asked if there were any other dates for the assessment and was told no. So I had to withdraw my application as I couldn't get the 1st of Sept off which was the day they gave me. After spending hours on that application too, tossers!

My assessment day was 1st Sept. I could not get the day off work as too many on A/L. Asked if any other dates, told no, so i've had to withdraw.

i've got to go to Newport, about 220 miles from where I live for the assessment.

Well surprisingly I got through the application, assessment next, they haven't given a date yet.

I'm still waiting to hear, bad luck about not getting through, wonder when I'll get my email.....
