    It’s bizarre that 0717 train from Holyhead does not call at Prestatyn on Sundays considering that the train has called previously at Abergele a much less busy station that normally has much lower frequency service? I wonder why?

    In a past life, decades ago we did a survey to see how many people used the then numbered 29 bus on its one round trip per week to Frankby Cemetery. Somewhat disconcertingly the bus took three passengers to the cemetery and only two returned…!

    Be great to see trains running before 2pm on Sundays between Derby and Crewe. Extremely useful alternative service to avoid rail replacement buses when other routes are closed due to engineering work!

    Trying to travel by train from Denton to Brigg on the same day, impossible! Denton only has a train on Saturdays and Brigg only has a train on Mondays to Fridays!

    If I remember correctly in the late 80s didn’t a number of trains in West Yorkshire from the Leeds direction terminate at Micklefield, a tiny village near the A1 (WYPTE boundary) instead of continuing to York?
