    Class 345 progress

I've noticed more defective speakers on 378s than most other units. Sometimes this means that at short platforms you hear the "this is coach number x of x" announcement from the adjacent car, which is clearly not good.

    Class 345 progress

I agree 100% with the point on the PIS. The PIS on the 378s is truly awful. The displays all scroll at different speeds, meaning they never match the audio, and loads of displays are broken/blank. The voice is also very boring and monotone, and loads of unnecessary announcements. Hopefully the...

Theresa May calls General Election on 8th June.

May's arrogance has well and truly ****ed her in my opinion. As someone who definitely does not want to see Corbyn as PM, it's disappointing. I shall be voting LibDem, but I was disappointed with Farron's performance. He was far too reliant on soundbites and stories etc I also agree that the...

    Class 345 progress

Overall it feels to me like the 345 has been designed by an overpaid designer desperate to build up their portfolio, with no respect for existing TFL standards. From the external livery, which is a departure from TFL norms, to the gloomy interior

Uglier IMHO. The 378 front design is really nice, whereas this looks like a squashed fish

    Class 345 progress

I agree with the point about the seats. FAAAAAR too many longitudinal seats. A whole 3 cars (the first and last and the middle wheelchair car) are longitudinal only, which is too much

    Class 345 progress

Just saw a supposedly well-informed guy from Bombardier on the BBC's "The Fifteen Billion Pound Railway" refer to these trains as "the largest length trains you'll probably see on London Underground for a long while..." arrggghh he also later refers to them as a "tube" arrggghh

    Class 345 progress

My favourite would be Julie Berry, as her voice is excellent, but Parnell would be good too. Hignett IMHO would be a disaster as her voice is very monotone and boring, and doesn't flow nicely at all (especially on the Overground"

Does anyone know who voices the DVA on these units?

Who would you vote for if there was a general election today?

From what I've seen I'd say the leave vote is split roughly 50/50 between people like yourself and the protectionist, anti-globalist types.

Who would you vote for if there was a general election today?

I look forward to hearing how the Corbyn dead-enders square his "massive mandate" with the upcoming electoral wipeout...

Theresa May calls General Election on 8th June.

And the Tories are looking to overturn their 2015 manifesto commitment to "safeguard British interests in the Single Market"

Who would you vote for if there was a general election today?

I'm gonna vote LibDem. I don't like the hard-right turn that the Tories have taken and I'm not a fan of Jeremy Corbyn's terrorist-sympathising anti-Semitic Labour Party

Theresa May calls General Election on 8th June.

Here's one: John Woodcock put out a video saying he's standing but that "I will not countenance ever voting to make Jeremy Corbyn Britain's Prime Minister" I don't really see how that position is tenable. https://www.facebook.com/253928198013563/videos/1476441002428937/

    Future of Class 707

If one of the trailers was removed then the performance would be more adequate

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

I believe Coquelles still has a nameplate near the toilet, although it's lost the Union Jack/Tricolore Cheriton also has some sort of sticker/thing, although it looks far inferior to the original

    Class 319's into storage/withdrawals tracker

Good to see the Channel Tunnel units 319008 "Cheriton" and 319009 "Coquelles" have still survived. Will try to get some pics before they're gone!

    Future of Class 707

Since there are 30 707s in total, and GN has 29 387s in total, would it be possible to remove one car from each 707 to make 29 4-car sets and then replace all the 387s? It would give GTR a more uniform fleet (700, 707, 717)
