    Sheffield - St Ives (Cornwall)

    Bus from the Airport is a Western Greyhound 556 to Newquay and a similar 547 to St Ives - travel time will be at least 2 1/2 hours. The last 547 leaves Newquay at 16:30.

    The XC services I've been on lately show.... Reserved from 'xyz' or Not reserved or Reserved Reserved from 'xyz' changes to Reserved when the train reaches 'xyz' cycle repeats....

    Usually a pax for St Ives would alight at St Erth for the branch line but it is acceptable to double back. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Anticipated arrival more like - I've watched it go through St Erth between 8-8:30 quite often.

    No - but the line is run sensibly with flexible capacity. Winter is 153 (enhanced for Christmas/New Year) Easter is 153 + 150 High season is 2 x 150 When the new park 'n ride open I hear it will be 2 x 150 + 153. At 2 tph that's a lot of bodies. --- old post above --- --- new post below...
