personally, I have long given up with the Pancras service, its via Doncaster or Tamworth for me, EMR must have literally driven away hordes of former passengers..

EMR to introduce reduced Inter City service from Monday 20th July

EMR should at least remove evening off peak restrictions to Leicester and beyond, while this fiasco is ongoing, the 1832 is booked a 5 car 222, so no capacity there, but if travel allowed throughout the evening peak to help spread the load.

Skegness by EMR this Summer, 2 car 158s today, must be cozy

20 years ago Skegness has C.450,000 passengers per year, it is now at C.400,000 but the lack of capacity must be further suppressing demand. the 170s had more space and often ran in 5 cars. there used to be additional Summer HSTs on the line on Saturday. I presume this is the DFT choosing not...

I see EMR are operating 2 car 158 units on the Skegness line today, as its lovely weather, I can see many people getting left behind, especially as there are 2 hour gaps on Sundays. Surely the service could have double units on peak bank holiday Sunday? What are the plans for this summer? I...

EMR: Are they going to make Summer Nottingham - Skegness Trains "Reservation only or no Travel" this Year?

I just mean it will probably be the usual chaos, as has been the case since the HSTs were sent off lease. The service is not fit for purpose in the summer

    Newquay to Gatwick to end

Cornwall putting a lot of money into the rail service at Newquay, with a more frequent service, double the current service, which seems a more sustainable option than paying flight subsidies. From the Mid Cornwall Metro official page: https://midcornwallmetro.com/

    Commuting from Ongar

I think part of the later problem was also Essex council not wanting to fund/ subsidise the line, and the GLC reluctant to pay for a service outside of London. shame it went, I had a few rides just after I started work on LUL.
