Do you really know DRS will use 57s on them or are you stabbing in the dark? I really highly doubt they will, Don't NXEA Men sign 47s so common sense would be to use 47s.....
FGW Currently use them? And they're really reliable aren't they.....
No option for a 'No preference' opinion?
Don't get the **** taken out of me at school. They're dead interested about it although I have had to convince them im not a 'trainspotter' but a person who bashes the railways. Plenty of them in my school. 7 that I know of and a few closet ones. Deputy head, 2 Geo Teachers and a physics teacher...
One thing I can recommend doing is:
1V31 down to Cardiff in Morning
Day on 67s, right up until the last call
Down to Plymouth on a Voyager (I think there is also a FGW HST aswell)
Pick up the Up beds to London
For the 1st WSMR Service of the morning!
Gets the ATW 57s, FGW 57 & 67s and...
Get giving to the 125Group now and these trains won't be withdrawn(From service yes but not from Railtours....). Myself, I am hoping GC won't get rid of their Lovely powercars for sometime yet. IC70s can go soon but not the lovely engines!:D
Of Course. Do the Wag to Cardiff in the Morning. Go on a train and meet the 67s somewhere. Do those to somewhere get on a HST to Padd round to Marylebone for the 2003 service to Wrexham. Of course all depends how lond you want to spend on the 67s
