Confused me as it got deleted as I was trying to report it and was told I was trying to report an invalid post. The mods were very quick out of the traps.
The only error I can see is believing the helpline when they were told the train was on its way. How much incorrect information from an incompetent railway should they have allowed for?
If they were even remotely competent they'd be aware of a *potential* problem as soon as the trains were diverted away. They would have made sure *their* helpline was aware (the fact that it's outsourced is irrelevant) and would have had a contingency plan to deal with anyone waiting at the station.
And of course you are 100% infallible and never ever make a mistake. It must be great being perfect.
That's your normal response when someone picks up on a driver's error isn't it?
Did you read about the Uber driver who's just been fined for refusing to allow a guide dog into his cab? Refusing to help a disabled passenger would leave you open to that.
