    I’m sure they have, but unlike the UK Government, the Scottish Government has to live within its means (the infrastructure budget is finite), and therefore this has to be done more gradually.

    I think the lack of cycle spots on the HSTs was commented on a while back. Originally there was only going to be 2 spots available for intermediate stops and 6 for end to end. I hear Scotrail have now committed to 4 spots (minimum) for intermediate stops.

    I am aware - via an MSP - that Transport Scotland and Scotrail are "discussing some exciting plans" for increasing cycle spaces for intermediate stations. What that means, I dunno, but it is being looked at.
