Well, it's obvz not the SNP calling for it. Labour are demanding the HST fleet be withdrawn immediately on safety grounds and the LibDems/Tories just bemoaning old trains in general.

Very good - poor Merseyside! Got to say I'm surprised from prior experience that the Northern fleet is younger (just) than Scotrail's.
