Having sold tickets in the Booking Office throughout the morning, come lunchtime i had to refund them all! Improvising announcements etc it was mad!
So dont run the risk in a coach, it...
After being out on half term for only a week, i seem to have shot enough videos to upload Part 3 in the series. I will admitt that this one isnt quite as exciting as others, but thats personal opinion.
Featuring: 850 Lord Nelson up Parkstone bank, Standard 4T 80078 at Swanage, Desiros and St...
With the 07:45 off Parkstone on 444 017, I was already clearly content with myself and yet only 5 minutes on a 444 was enough to excite me. Unfortunatly not as much as Tom would be when arriving at Bournemouth, he was on 444 019 which became the front 5 of the now 10 car set. Soon after quickly...
With my old camera now gone and done with after seeing lord nelson because the screen cracked its time for a new one :), except im having a dilema between two very nearly exact cameras by Fuji.
The old, Finepix S5600 Zoom or the new S5700. The 5700 has 7.1 mega pixels unlike the 5600 which...

With a large majority of people chasing the Duchess of Sutherland on the Cuneo Centennial I got extremly bored and thought id just try a little experiment. Now Tom says that a 444 picture would be extremly boring to see as a theme, well i thought id find out:
Obviously i cant judge it...
An interesting peice of kit for a cheap price with potential. The idea of this is a reed switch on your layout between a loco and the track which when runs over it sets off a recorded sound.
Sounds like a great idea for station annoucements, run down to you local station record an...
Before the Beer Gala, Swanage is operating its annual Branchline weekend - http://www.swanagerailway.co.uk/07blw.htm
The event will feature:

Be nice to see what locos we all have and to see the periods that people tend to model more. Now although i have a small fleet i have a small layout too.

1) I need chassis for both locomotives. Stephen has told me that he has the chassis for the 47, but no bogies.
2) They both need a paint job, British Rail green. I have no spray brush and therefore...
In a more recent revelation to contibute to the dissaperance of 442s on the South West Mainline, Desiros are now being stationed at Bournemouth Depot. The 442s are to dissapear what seems quicker than it appears! :(
