I don't see the problem with 67's. Don't forget the NR is only 6 coaches long similar to the Cally Sleeper portions. Surely there should be no problems over the banks of Devon?
Chiltern advise an extra 90 minutes on top of the normal times which seems logical. Consider everyone getting off the train finding a coach, waiting for stragglers, toilet runs, organising baggage etc. Traffic on and off the M40, seems about right to me.

If a portion of the Caledonian sleeper is cancelled for whatever reason, is the rest of the train also cancelled? If not and half of the train runs what happens to passengers who have booked the next night for the cancelled portion?

I agree with other posts, surely with erosion of the cliffs in time it would become dangerous. Look what's happening on the east coast. Sheer madness.
