I don’t think this quasi-lockdown can last much longer. My sister lives in an estate in London and the atmosphere there is seething at the moment. There’s supposed to be warm weather forecast on Sunday so it wouldn’t surprise me if there will be widespread flouting of the rules this weekend.
How badly affected were services during this time? I know there was a wartime timetable in effect but were services affected further during the pandemic?
Unfortunately it’s definitely their hygiene and eating practices. There’s still a handful of Bubonic Plague cases a year in Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang because people are foolish enough to eat BBQ marmots.
