I’m still waiting to hear back from my DMI but just have a question for any current drivers.
If you’re based at the North Kent hub for example but are required to start work at Hoo Junction is the travel time from the hub to the start location included in your working day? Do you get paid fuel...
I think Marx summer it up brilliantly. I’ve done 13 years now and just completed my DMI interview for a driver job.
I’ve worked on various departments and I can honestly say I’ve never seen the job this bad. When I first joined it was unheard of for people to quit but now it’s a regular...
Finally got an interview date I can attend on the 5th March. Couldn’t make the last two.
Anyone heard when they might be starting training etc if successful?
Yeah I got an email today. I applied for trainee driver but it reads as a generic email sent to both trainee and junior driver roles. At least it’s an update.
Creatine is naturally produced in the body. All it does is help the muscles produce more energy whilst lifting and draws water into them to make them look fuller. It litteraly has zero adverse affects and is not illegal anywhere in the world.
It certainly wouldn’t be checked for ina urine test...
I think all TOCs do it slightly differently. Some add extra tests/assessments, some require enhanced pass marks. Some do the DMI before the MMI etc Someone who has applied for FGW may be able to help.
I'm currently still in the job. I know a few who have left my department and joined various different TOCs and seem to be getting on ok.
I'm going through the process with DB Cargo at the moment. I've completed the first two stages, just waiting for my DMI.
Where are you based?
No not yet mate. I only done it Thursday so not even a week yet. The lady did say it might be a while before we hear anything?
Have you heard anything yet?
I'm pretty sure all TOCs/FOCs have the same assessments. Some require enhanced pass, others require standard. Some also incorporate some of their own additional assessments during the initial application stage I believe.
I don't see why you couldn't transfer them over. Best bet is speak to the...
Hi mate, I think I read somewhere that some depots also get London weighting, is that correct?
I passed stage 2 today and was told it’s just a matter of waiting now for the final stage/DMI. Just happy to have got the tests done and dusted!
It’s a shame that even in 2018 people still have to worry about stuff like this.
I’m not on the rails yet (hope to be soon) but I currently work for a massive organisation with quite a diverse group of people. Through the years I’ve worked on a lot of smaller departments which would...
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
