Which LM Birmingham depot is preferable?

I have no idea how it works, hence my asking. I would presume first of all that I would go where they need me, if I choose... how do I choose?! Is one type of traction better than others? Should I prioritise a better rota... which depot has the better rota?! Something I haven't thought about but...

Which LM Birmingham depot is preferable?

Hello all, I appreciate that it may not be my choice when the time comes, but if I am asked to express any kind of preference of depot to be based at as a trainee with LM, which one would current drivers choose and why? Not having the ear of anyone on the inside I'm searching here for clues...

    Two handed coordination test

Either a trick of the eye or a fault with the screen. It's only ever white, one shade of grey or black.

    London Midland initial interview

Nothing specific really, just know some stuff about the company, and the website holds most of that info. --- old post above --- --- new post below --- Best thing to do is check company websites for vacancies, and I do mean every day. Chiltern had their advert up for only a few days before...

    Two handed coordination test

Best not to go so slowly that it takes ages, just to avoid going out of the lines. You can afford to drift a little providing you get back inside quickly, but don't panic and yo-yo in and out, just freeze for a second, breathe, continue. You will get faster, and if what I read is true, you get...

London Midland Revenue and Security Manager

If they employ someone with no previous experience of the railway then that will most likely be true, until they're up to speed.

London Midland Revenue and Security Manager

Hello all, A friend of mine has asked if this position is an entry level role in revenue protection or whether it is open to those with experience of the role already. The fact that the job title is 'manager' and the person spec is looking for knowledge of network, ticketing and legislation...

    London Midland

Perhaps harder the guess the timescales this time as external recruitment was frozen presumably to give those that were facing redundancy the opportunity to pass the tests for trainee driver. How many did and how big the talent pool is now is anyone's guess. I would speculate a longer...

Freightliner trainee driver positions ('Graduate scheme')

Out of interest what sort of answers did you give when asked 'how you felt' all the time? This is the one part of that interview that has always puzzled me. I would assume they are looking for minimal emotional outbursts, but not robots? Or is it merely a way to fluster you. I'm not sure.

    Chiltern Trainee Drivers

Google can still find the advert, and it says the 12th. I only discovered the advert on Monday as I was away at a wedding. Completed today, then I saw this, and it appears I'm too late. Application form states all applications must be in by the closing date.

    Chiltern Trainee Drivers

They changed the closing date to the 12th and removed the advert :(
