Yes. 7 cars were ok enough to get back down. If any wheels need skimming on that they can do it there.

There looks to be a full (or near full) set still at Wembley. I'll get a better look tomorrow as I'll walk through the depot to work.

Also if they can only haul the damaged set at 15mph that severally restricts where they can do it. Can't see them getting them down to Wembley or up to Scotland for the work.

There is a 16 car Mk2/3 set sat in Wembley ICD. Anyone know where the Mk5 set with wheel flats has gone? Did it go up to Scotland?

That's fine if agreed by staff and unions and an appropriate pay increase for the extra work involved.

It's not in a controllers or on board staffs job description to update social media. These people have other duties to attend to.

I wonder where GNWR plan on stabling and maintaining their fleet. Alstom in Wembley would be the obvious choice at the South End of the route, though they don't have experience with MK4 coaches or class 91 engines. Plus they are pretty busy with the fleet of 390's and soon to be replaced sleeper...

Here here, its almost as if people think train operators don't want to run trains. I would not have wanted to be in CS control last night! Interestingly they didn't wait for Willesden Carriage Shed North to open at 20:00 to bring 5M16 in to Wembley depot ;)
