Trains told to get rid of torrent of 'Tannoy spam'

The Pauses (it might be a desiro thing as I've seen it on 444s and 450s.. ) allow for the PIS screens to catch up with the text to keep in time with the announcements.

SWT Red Livery - still shiny on EMUs in service, how?

Signage was still there in 2012 https://goo.gl/maps/PSUSVQ2oH7rKP9fi6 - but removed as of 2014 https://goo.gl/maps/iBBDXtwtKSp3Zzeq9 (links are to google maps streetview, may need to view with browser, not app to see the above as 'historical' captures..) The most recent capture I think shows...

I'm the only one reading the words "where technology allows" then.. This means where fitted, not retrofitting all the other stock

Plans to reopen Totton - Fawley/Hythe (again!)

The line is still 'live' and maintained, just holds no regular service south of Marchwood military. in terms of a southern terminus - the current plans shared to councils show it as Hardley Halt, which would be located just prior to the Refinery - IMO would make a good site for a P&R for Fawley...

Passenger Vs social media staff when Guard didn't appear to issue tickets on a Northern train

His twitter timeline suggests he's awkward as possible toward the railway, complaining that when he was once able to get to a guard, had to pay a full fair.

Different management (senior level), direction etc. whilst overnight nothing would change they can re-prioritise the organisation, instill, manage & challenge behaviours and they can also review timetable, maintenance plans and finances.
