I fell for this with Northern by booking an advanced ticket a couple of months in advance. Even on the day of travel the price had gone right down so I am never booking too far ahead with them again.
I know you can collect tickets using a collection reference number at all Merseyrail booking offices now. It was also possible at the ticket machines at their unmanned stations such as Bache. Have the extended this now to all their stations that have a ticket machine, including those with a...
Will they only endorse your ticket for a later service if the flight is delayed? So will they still let you travel on the later service if the fight is on time but it takes longer than an hour to get between landing on the runway and the train station?
That's exactly what I did actually. I used some tape to stick them down inside the card I was sending. So there is no way they could bunch up.
However I think it was very borderline if the item was the thickness of a letter or a large letter. I can only hope that, assuming it was a large...
This is going to some really strange but look at the response from the first appeal. The letter does not actually expressly state that the first appeal has not been successful or given any reason as to why.
I am positive they are both less then 100g. It's just the thickness that could be the issue. But that's reassuring they'll treat it as second class without any surcharge.
On Friday I posted 2 letters from Liverpool, one to Blackpool and the other to Doncaster. I attached a regular first class stamp. On reflection, due to a small enclosure, I think this may have been a large letter.
Given I attached a first class stamp with a value of £1.80 will Royal Mail by...
Will the system let you complete the journey with the missing touch in?
The other option is that you call the TfL helpline and explain you purchased a paper ticket for the journey and see if they will refund the additional charge on this occasion.
And if they didn't (the Ombudsman) the OP can still issue a Before claim to Northern before any small claim. Often the latter gets a company to pay up.
If no details were taken and it was definitely a bank card that you tapped on his device then I think that will be the end of the matter.
You are lucky you were not using an Oyster card as the inspector would have been able to tell that you had not tapped in. Most likely they did not see...
Thank you for confirming. It therefore looks like I am in fact better using the clubcard points towards a one year Railcard. There is no other reward partner I routinely buy from.
As it's a disabled persons Railcard one year is £20 and 3 years is £54.
I am a great believer in getting maximum value from Tesco Clubcard points. So that means never spending them in store at face value and always doubling them up to a rewards partner I would be making a purchase from anyway.
I have been using my points to purchase a Railcard the past few years...
I'd speak to either a steward or the TM about the vaping.
The TM is allowed to give people permission to remain in first. Could it have been conflict avoidance?
