    The separation was only completed in February. Until then it was possible for District trains to shuttle from Acton-Hammersmith via the fast lines.

    Yes, eastbound platform was raised 29-30 July, as no District trains will serve these platforms. All ready for the 2024 Stock. There is another closure 16-17 September which may see the westbound raised. Westbound still a drop down.

    A few historical questions on the Circle Line.

    1983 Stock did have cab controls. O Stock and the converted CO Stock had the Guard controls in the cabs. These were regular replacements for C Stock on the Edgware Road service until withdrawal in 1981, which were a great alternative!

    The inner part by the perch seat area around the double-doors, the outside still shows the full extent of the window (now masked) but the inside has a small window.
