Would anyone be kind enough to help identify what was hauling the train RTT gives as UID B28517, identity 652U, TSC 53693903
https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/B28517/2020-05-24/detailed, from Three Bridges to Selhurst? I was sitting on Wandsworth Common, heard it and then heard it coming...
Would anyone be able to identify:
(1) the power car paired with 43309 working set EC51 yesterday, Sunday 21 July (the 1530 from King’s Cross to Edinburgh)
(2) the class 91 working 1E24 (1700 Edinburgh to King’s Cross) tonight (Mon 22 July)?
Thanks in advance!
I’m aware that the buffet car (coach H) in LNER’s Inter-City 225 stock is usually unreserved. Would anyone be able to tell me if this will still be the case this weekend in light of the reduced service out of King’s Cross?
Are the HST short-term/STP diagrams for the weekdays of this week and next finalised/available yet? (Apologies if they are, could not remember seeing them up-thread!) I am particularly interested in Wednesday and Thursday of this week if anyone is able to help.
Would anyone be able to inform me of trains which are likely to be HST formed from Reading to London Paddington between 1600 and 2300 on 16 September? I am taking the train back to London from Oxford at some point then, and would like to get another HST trip in while I still can!
319s are probably less suitable for long distance journeys anyway (no air con, 3+2 throughout, 319/0s and 319/3s don't have first class), so it makes more sense to shove them on a route where none of those things matters as much (well, AC does, but there's less expectation than in a long...
The 1757 to Brighton often gets busy especially in the last coach but I always managed to get a seat on the 1823 to Eastbourne out of London Bridge, even when arriving at say 1815-1820, particularly if I walked up to the far end.
Can anyone tell me which class 92 was at the head of this service please?

Listed as 665X Dollands Moor-Ripple Lane on 30 August; saw it passing through Ashford on the CTRL at 2115ish.
Although one of the troubles with preserving mark 1 EMU stock has been that many railways have been unable or unwilling to use such stock (even as hauled vehicles) hence why it often only emerges for special events or just rots in a siding. See for example one of the Lymington units (the green...
I believe in fact that all 49 original A1s (and Tornado of course) carried BR blue. Of them, 60114-126 and 60130-152 were delivered in LNER apple green with BRITISH RAILWAYS titles; the remainder (all built by Doncaster) in BR blue from May 1949 onwards. The last in apple green appears to have...
Re GTR 319s: 319/2 and 319/4 retain first class; 319/0 never had first class and 319/3 subclass lost FC when refurbished in the late 1990s. However, many of the services on which 319s are now diagrammed (eg I think the Wimbledon loop line?) don't have booked FC, although the subclasses are used...
They are designed to be capable of reconstruction, being, of course, essentially 319s with a Networker cab. But the glut of PEP and Mark 3 derived units knocking about looking for homes (eg 321s) makes it unlikely unless there's suddenly an upsurge in demand.
I believe it was to prevent train-surfing on the front ends, much like the modifications to Networker bufferbeams at about the same time. The 375 and 170 series cabs have steps above the kind-of bufferbeam, which I suppose would rule them out.
