Background: been photographing buses for pleasure for about 15 years, mainly with digital cameras but in past couple of years with iPhone since their cameras got better (albeit zoom not viable).
Objective: decent photos for personal use (not for publication so don’t need to be amazing)

Hi all. Very grateful if somebody can let me know which Azumas operated the following services on Bank Holiday Monday, 18 April 2022 (they’re not appearing on RTT for some reason):
22:00 Kings X to York
00:18 York to Leeds
Thanks very much in advance!
Don’t know the answer but it’s a good question! Went to both stations last year, didn’t see anybody get on or off at either, and a walk round the area revealed very few push or pull factors. They being so close to one another and Grimsby Town I’m surprised they’ve survived.
Thanks all. So just to confirm....!
If I did get a Marsden-Greenfield season as well as the WY and GMPTE seasons, would I definitely have validity on Leeds-Hudd-Manc services that don’t stop at either of those stations? i.e. there is very little chance of being challenged by a TPE conductor if...
Hi all
I live in Leeds and am starting new job in Manchester. My preference for commuting would be to get a West Yorkshire Metrocard monthly and a Greater Manchester area monthly ticket, so that as well as commuting I can see a bit of the world on my downtime.
However, I’m not sure whether the...
Illegal or not, this is a ludicrous situation and Ken’s suggestion is a logical resolution for the majority of people, disabled or otherwise. Damning indictment of the rail industry, and government, if short forms and mass disruption result from all this.
Would depend how you'd define the area, but Leeds would certainly be right up there. Interestingly it has relatively few pubs west and south of the station, but obviously to the immediate north/east you have the heart of the city centre, and right by the station you have the charming circuit of...

As well as being a railway nut, my enthusiasm for pubs knows no bounds - I'm deep into my logistically-challenging mission to drink in every pub in Yorkshire (currently on 1,187 out of an estimated 4,500). I have vast spreadsheet records of the pubs of Yorkshire and...

First bashing visit to Glasgow, absolutely loved it!
Hi all - quick question if I may:
On the return portion of an Anytime Return from, say, York to London Terminals, can you break your journey at any/all stations along line of route? i.e. not just stations with direct trains to final destination, but Finsbury Park, St Neots, etc? Or does every...
Thanks all! Shame to hear that 333009 is out of commission - that will be an annoying little gap in the spreadsheet!
As it turned out, I somewhat overindulged at the Christmas office party last night and so anything too strenuous was out of the question today  I have nevertheless...
Hi all - a newbie here, both to the forum and to the world of bashing!
By way of background: I'm 32, have loved railways from a young age but have fluctuated over the years in how this love manifests itself. For many years it was predominantly railway history, when I was younger it was a bit...
