In all fairness, the title of the thread is 'Your favourite journey(s)' - a line doesn't have to be senic for it to be someone's favorite. To many it is/was the anticipation of what was at the destination, or perhaps the loco that peformed the duty, that made the journey a 'favorite'.

My first Railtour was the DC Green Flasher on 17/07/1993. It featured the National Railway museum's E5001 (71001) but also included 56005 and a double-header from 73139 & 73141. Fantastic tour and the 71 performed admirably!
