I reported it too, but won't be holding my breath. I've reported this video:

numerous times, as some seem to consider this dangerous act admirable, but it's still there.
Found this whilst reading up on the history of Twerton station, Bath:
Between 1960 and 1975, Adrian Vaughan worked as a signalman at Clink Road junction, Frome and then at Witham a bit further west. During his time there, he met lots of ancient railwaymen who told him their stories. Adrian...
There are one or two locations on the Bath - Bristol route on which it would be possible to have (short) four track sections. There used to be four tracks running through Bath Spa, for example. The bridge out of Bath spa would be impossible to add anything to, but the section after the bridge...
In all fairness the SVR used to go a lot further than the current heritage railway does - the track on the section from Bridgnorth to Buildwas, for example, is long gone.
It had a few branch lines connected too (Stourport-on-Severn, Tenbury Wells, Cleobury Mortimer) so it could perhaps be one...
This one in particular (from the paranormal database) spooks me:
Steam Locomotive
Location: Elsham (Lincolnshire) - Ancholme Bridge
Type: Haunting Manifestation
Date / Time: Weather Dependent: Foggy weather
Further Comments: Said to reappear in the same spot since an accident in the...
Undoubtedly - using the FAR more viable Portishead branch as an example, the estimated cost of reopening the Portishead branch is/was ten million, and (not counting the Portbury section) the trackbed is mostly intact with some sections even still having rails in place.
I've said this before in another thread on this subject - Sadly, unlikely to happen - small sections of it may reopen, but the attempts to have a section of the line reopened to get china-clay lorries off Cornwall's highly unsuited (to HGV's) roads and back onto rail were dropped due to strong...
Completely agree - it IS a daft move. It isn't like the loco can be sent to a heritage railway to haul anything. It is essentially a museum piece and (probably) always will be, and I am left wondering what exactly will happen to it if it doesn't go back out on display.
Would be nice to see one or two smaller diesel classes back on the mainline too be honest - I know there are 20's still operational (with DRS) but I'm referring to the 25's/26's etc - though guess they'd have to run in multiple with something else these days.
I'd say either D600/601 - they really did slip through preservation's fingers in my opinion, mostly through the misfortune of finding themselves dumped at Woodhams with numerous kettles during a time that few really cared about diesels. I do recall reading that attempts were made to preserve...
Oldfield Park, in Bath - admittedly haven't been there for well over a decade (as moved away from the area) but have very fond memories of that station, watching 56's, 47's, 37's and 58's on the Avon binliner, 47's on mail trains, and 37's with rakes of mark 2's on the Weymouth.
