Yes I am wondering too. So much to take in. I can understand wearing masks on the train, but what if you are stood out in the open on a platform, especially somewhere like Guiseley or East Garforth?

I once did a day trip on the Manchester Piccadilly to Dover Western Docks, mainly to get some non-standard route mileage, such as Kensington Olympia (no Overground in those days). There were still the cut down 33's working the ro-ro's in those days.

Keighley must be up there. There is the cafe/pub on the bridge run by the KWVR, toilets and kiosk when the KWVR is over, and ASDA right over the road.

I did get a Saturday only train a year or so ago that terminated at Horsforth. The track was then set with a positioning signal into the siding ready for it to go back into Leeds.

Thanks for the responses. I do know that the main traffic was to the dye works, plus the usual coal, milk traffic etc, but I was looking for a steer as to where the trains actually worked from. Presumably they must have been trip workings from local yards?

I live in Yeadon and often walk down the old railway path down to Guiseley. I know that Yeadon station was only really used for excursion traffic, and that everything else was local freight. This got me thinking. What freight actually worked up the branch, where did they operate from, and what...

I am a bit confused. RTT shows that 1R24 from Holyhead/Wrexham is booked in to platform 16 at 09:40. The next departure from that platform shows as the 1Z57 express to Glasgow at 10:36. I thought there would have been the various ECS moves noted?
