Just got the email telling me I was successful for the Feltham ASC G7 job. Like a lot of people I have to say that every word of this forum has been worth its weight in gold and I have to thank everyone on here who have taken their time to help me and others get to this point. Over the moon now...
That gives me some confidence I’m 19. Just the worry that (understandably) any interviewer for a job like this would equate my age with lack of experience or immaturity and so on
In interviews is there much in the way of small talk (eg tell us about yourself and your career so far/why do you want to be a signaller?) type generic questions to start with or do they just go straight into the safety vision/NTS stuff?
For my interview next week, would it be appropriate for me to show them any documents that support my examples for the NTS? I’m a dispatcher currently and by pure good fortune I had my rules re-assessed by my CDM today and mentioned I was going for signalling. Passed my refresher assessment...
