I’ve got a video interview this week for the East Midlands Railway Train Manager talent pool.

Has anyone done this interview?

What kinds of questions can I expect?

Also, does anyone have a train manager role description for EMR? The one I’ve got is really brief and would like more details if possible, please.

Have you had a search for EMR Train Manager threads? I’m pretty sure there has been one within the last 4 - 6 months.

EDIT Just clicked on the search icon and typed in EMR Train Manager and several threads came up.

I did indeed do a search before I wrote this post and found several threads, but none of them contain any info about a video interview. I also couldn’t find any detailed EMR Train Manager job descriptions. Just the same as I’ve already got on file.

The role description on the EMR site is pretty comprehensive.
I've done the video interview twice for this role
I've been in a talent pool since last November
The things you are likely to be asked are your company knowledge, job knowledge and how you fit the role, plus things important to the role such as your customer service and team working skills.
The practice that you should have received the link for is super helpful and pretty close to the real thing.
