I wonder how many are sold today as the 7 day season via Shenfield is currently £30 cheaper.

Advance Fares - is there any logic any more?

Would imagine many were elsewhere in train (some of course were travelling earlier with walk up tickets (no evening time restrictions on Fridays from King Cross) and London Terminals transfer time given can be way too long.

Forum Ticket Site offers route involving Merseyrail as E-ticket

You might be surprised at the number of people that dislike both the plain white paper tvm issued trial tickets and orange "bog roll" tickets. When I issue CCST tickets regularly receive positive comments about "proper tickets" A lot of older people seem to struggle with e-tickets but of course...

The berth supplement prices do increase once you get to 4 weeks out, as others have said the cheaper quotas do sell out earlier (espically Friday/Sunday nights) Looking at 15th October you can have single cabin for £49 or twin berth for £79. Wymondham to London "via Norwich" ticket valid via Cambridge?

So would a Wymondham to London off peak return via Norwich no longer be valid to come back via Cambridge ? (even although via Cambridge is a lower fare)

Lack of Advances on lightly loaded trains

To see commuters booking up Advances you only have to look at 0630 or 0700 Norwich to Liverpool St. services, full & standing most mornings. They generally have minimum 65 - 70% of travellers on Advance tickets, about 25% on Season tickets with less than 10% on Anytime tickets. Seems strange...
