    Hi I started work at 15 has a apprentice plater/welder for a local firm in Barnsley For £3-12-7 I stayed there until they Closedown in 1980s I went to other tinpot firms Then got a start at another local firm in wombwell Stayed there for 34 years until I retired 2 years ago Neil
