Is this 'soft' from FCC?
Three people run to catch a train at Mill Hill broadway. RPI's start checking our carriage having seen these people run for the train. Automatically said £20 each if you don't have tickets..
So does this mean that staff will be manning stations basically 24/7 in the new franchise where thameslink trains run all night? As other people have mentioned, most stations are unstaffed past 9pm or so (at least on the northern part of the route).
Well said.
To put it simply, if Hamas put their weapons down there would be peace, if israel put their weapons (and iron dome) down there would be no more Israel.
Why does no new stock have larger windows? I know that a lot of the tube is underground but the large windows on the 92 stock look so much better in my opinion...
I live alongside the line and they have been cutting back the trees for a few years now.. more and more kept disappearing and now they've all gone!

I have thought that when no first class is in the timetable, it is declassified, but on FCC I was told by a RPI that this was not the case.. was he talking out his behind? Ever since then I stopped doing it...
Problems Birmingham - Euston tonight!
Got stuck just outside Coventry on London Midland today.. We were travelling fine and all of a sudden a loud bang and spark from the wires above and we stopped for about 30 mins before crawling to rugby at 20mph.. Guard told us virgin would be accepting...
I have a question which i didn't think needed a new thread but I'm curious..
I was travelling from London to Birmingham on the 10.30 pendolino to Euston arriving at 12.27. The train (coming from Wolverhampton) broke down at the platform and we were all told to disembark and await a new train...
This may sound a bit distasteful but what actually happens when somebody decides to jump in front of a train? Elstree is my local station and those trains really do thunder past.. Would the speed of the train drag the body underneath the train? would it be enough to possibly derail the train or...
I don't quite get why FCC have to run a snow timetable.. its sleeting now yes, but alot of the snow has thawed/thawing.. surely they could run more trains that that, its pretty pathetic..
