I'm surprised that the Birmingham Outer Circle doesn't have input from Perry Barr, especially as the route near enough passes that depot as well as Acocks Green
Nothing on the Bus Operator Search on gov.uk.
Companies House shows them as being a London registered firm (presumably an accommodation address) previously registered in Dudley in May 2023. Not to be confused with the 1980s/1990s Birmingham Coach Company which became Go West Midlands/Diamond Bus
They're a East Midlands and Essex operator who also provide a "transport solutions consultancy". They recently purchased Galleon Travel as well as having their existing operations
There is a Free shuttle bus from Wolverhampton Bus Station (not Low Floor, numbered 598) and a normal bus (low floor, number 2 to Bushbury Hill).
Timetable is on this PDF - https://nxbus.co.uk/media/11623/2023-shuttle-bus-timetable.pdf
If coming from Dudley, Stourbridge or Penn, there is also...
Funnily enough the first "X" routes were the X51 and X96 (the latter being because it was initially limited stop Holly Hall to Dudley, then slowly made all stops to Dudley but was the most direct route to Merry Hill from Stourbridge and Dudley)
As an aside, does anyone know what happened to the open top decker Diamond East Mids had. Also, I think read somewhere that Diamond was losing their Derby routes soon but I'm not 100% sure. Does anyone know if its true or not as I'm planning on heading to Derby middle of next month and was...
De-Luxe... oh, Mr Mike James eh? I'm surprised he's ventured back into buses after bring banned multiple times by the Traffic Comissioner. Funnily enough he ran the Clifton Campville - Tamworth services when he ran Heartlands/Tamworth Coach and Bus
The X21 and the X22 are the direct to University from City buses, they only really skip 1 stop
The X8 and X10 is only limited stop so people have to use the 9 for intermediate stops
Because the 11 used to be numbered 12, and there was a 11U as well at one stage (iirc)
There used to be in the early 2000s a 112 and 12A which were variations of it too, plus a 12W to Westwood Business Park
The limited stop routes are
907
934-937 Kingstanding Expresses
997
X1/X2
X3-X5 Sutton Coldfield Expresses
X8
X12
X13
X14
X30 Ansty Park
X51 Walsall Road Express
That's because it's a more direct version of the 11 to the University
