As far as I've seen from the 93s and 99 at the Greatest Gathering and at the Polmadie Open day... I don't believe the 93s have AAR compatab.... at least not to the point of having a visible socket
I'm wondering the same.
Considering that every asset Scotland has had, England has sold off, with little to no benefit staying in Scotland.
Thatcher crippled our steel industry in the 80s/90s... although we're not alone in that. Etc etc
Not to do the whole England vs Scotland thing... but Scotrail is not under the control of the DfT, and if Scotrail decide they want to use the 222s from the start of agreed lease, there's nothing that the DfT or EMR can do to change things... nothing at all to with the DfT giving, or not...

There looks to be another move from Bo'ness to Craigentinny, so im guessing the 73 is also part of the formation, but the move to Craigentinny isn't a Q path
can't say i'm exactly surprised.
How often is there anything (non preserved) railway happen up here... and for it to be a mainline depot, this close to a terminal

To hand, no.
However these coupler heights, for the Voyagers and Pendolinos etc, are set by UIC.
The heights for DMUs and EMUs (sub 100mph stock) are not set by those same requirements.
Your assumption of 57/3s having the dellners set at non standard heights was cemented in most people's...
