That website is very out of date! Since then the line has been extended to run underground right into the middle of Alicante and the narrow gauge trains replaced with modern trams. I think since I was there, the line has been extended again to run right into the RENFE station.

I'm off to Feungirola on the train on Friday and was just wondering if there are any day trips I could do from there by rail. I know the line from Fuengirola into Malaga has an intensive service but how about to other parts like Grenada, Ronda or Gibraltar? Can anybody help?

One train in each direction on a Sunday on my local line, the Cambrian Coast. Would be nice to have two maybe but not sure it would get used through the winter.
