It’s on their web site. Here’s a link to the summary. Detailed impact to individual lines is listed separately. https://www.greateranglia.co.uk/travel-information/service-alterations/good-friday-29-march-2024-service-summary
Thanks again. That was also my understanding, in that the only relevant restrictions regarding 4A are related to time of travel.
I don’t have a problem arguing the toss, if the tickets are as they appear, legit.

Found this on the Thameslink website.
Confirming that break of journey...
Thanks, I’ve already tried those options. Both Liz line, changing at Farringdon and tube from Stratford to London Bridge.
The itineraries avoid Gatwick Express but still charge the higher fare.
I’m travelling Rayleigh to Gatwick on 7th July, arrival noon. Returning on Monday 10th, depart 19:30.
I’m struggling to find the best fare.
Using 2 together, I can see an off peak return to Three Bridges @ £66.50 compared to the same return to Gatwick @ £76.
Am I missing a via point, or...
Yes it was, although the Royal Train terminated at a temporary station, a few miles outside Caernarfon.
Later the line was used for freight destined for Holyhead, whilst the Britannia bridge was rebuilt after the fire in 1970.
The rebuild of the bridge was completed in 72.
Thanks again for your responses. I have found the below on the NR web site. I’m obviously planning way too far ahead.
It explains why I can book the Friday outbound but not the Sunday return.

My primary requirement is a reserved seat, an Advance ticket would be a bonus if it provided meaningful saving.
I’m only getting concerned having seen the one train showing only 2 seats available.
Done the trip many times before without a problem.

Nothing on the later trains.
Hopefully someone can explain why ?

Tried Avanti, TfW and Greater Anglia web sites. The journeys are shown but I can’t purchase a ticket.
Avanti says something along the lines of, no...

Thanks for all your suggestions. I contacted VT by email and received the following reply. I believe that confirms that I am good to go on the Holyhead train from Euston.....
I have a journey booked from Milton Keynes Central to Lancaster. The journey involves the 18:41 departure from MK...
Ok thanks all for your replies. So a Virgin Toc specific Anytime single, London - MK combined with an MK - Lancaster advance, is not valid ?
If that's correct, I'll take an earlier train to MK.
I' d be struggling to explain the concept to a Martian though...... No, you have to go...
Hopefully one of the fares gurus will be able to help.
I have an advance ticket from Milton Keynes to Lancaster with MK departure at 18:41 on The ex Euston 18:10 Holyhead Virgin, changing at Crewe.

For all the cynics who jumped on my post with immediate assumptions of fare dodgers. The truth is even worse. Extract below from the Southend Echo, linked below to full article.

I am at a loss to understand the point being made in the above post. I was the passenger who witnessed the incident, I have no axe to grind, I merely recounted the incident exactly as I perceived it, including my personal perception of unreasonable and intimidating behaviour. Both towards the...
