    Wow! That looks stunning ;).

    Bachmann 2014 Range?

I would like Bachmann to make a MkIII EMU like the Class 317/318/319/320/321/322. As they could make a standardised tooling that could make all variants with changeable "plates" for the different models :). I would certainly buy the Class 319 and 321 models for sure.

New red ones - Latest DB repaints

Nowt wrong with the livery mate. It suits the Class 60's quite well in my opinion and personally I like it as much as I do the EWS livery :). DJD200: I am not sure what's happened with the Class 60 Preservation group mate. I was a member up to early 2012 when all communication went completely...

Which would be better? (Third class travel)

Ah the VT98 "Schienenbus" ;). I still have my old Trix model somewhere.

Which would be better? (Third class travel)

I always thought Third class was abolished when BR took over from the "big four" but I think it made a come back in 1985 in the form of "Pacers". Personally I like them because you can see out of the windows more easily even they are a bit on the bouncy side ;).

Colas Class 70s - deliveries now underway

More "Firebones" to film :). I have to say the livery looks nice just like on the Grids ;).

    RailUK Store (Closed)

I wonder if we could have a Bachmann TEA 100-Tonne tanker with "RailUK" branding in the VTG blue colour? ;). Wouldn't mind a few in my rake. Another option could be to have a model of 60044 in DB Schenker red from Hornby with "RailUK" etched nameplates which would make a cracking model not to...

New red ones - Latest DB repaints

Its definitely 60066 in that shot there. Although 60006 is in a similar Corus livery, that Tug is in a right state inside due to fire damage and I seriously doubt that one will ever see the light of day on the tracks again :(.

New red ones - Latest DB repaints

Very nice! I see they have matched the window frames to the main body colour as well ;).

What stock "should" operate Liverpool-Norwich services?

I hope the RSPI (hope I got that right) can salvage a set. Just out of interest, have you ever visit Toton Traction Depot? There is quite a few Class 60's including my beast stored there due to time when EWS neglected the fleet. But fortunately though, they are making a comeback as DB Schenker...

    Train Sim 2013 free add-ons

I am certain it will come soon enough once they have fixed any remaining bugs. Once of the things I like about OR is when you run round a train, you have to hit \ to couple the brake pipes which makes it more involving than MSTS as MSTS is more automated :).

New red ones - Latest DB repaints

Lovely, keep 'em coming as they look great in that "Rosso Red" livery ;).

Colas Class 70s - deliveries now underway

I have to say that the dalek looks rather smart in the Colas colours ;).

What stock "should" operate Liverpool-Norwich services?

Its a shame really mate as these carriages are very comfy inside and you don't hear the drone of the engine underneath. I have been messing about in MS Paint and I thought of something like this for the coaching stock ;). Imagine a GM 201 class with a Class 92/60 carbody :D.

    Train Sim 2013 free add-ons

This is one of the major reasons I haven't made the switch from MSTS. As there is still not enough freeware available for the newer simulations and also some MSTS users might be aware that "OpenRails" is a great upgrade from MSTS (Microsoft Train Simulator) as it uses the Graphics Card to render...

What stock "should" operate Liverpool-Norwich services?

Mate, that wouldn't work anymore as it is a "classic" set compared with the modern plastic. Nice config and would appeal to the bashers (fans) but probably not so much for the generic passenger, so something more modern looking would be needed here fella :). Well I have thought of another...

What stock "should" operate Liverpool-Norwich services?

As far as I recall, HST's had their rakes swapped around at times when maintenance schedules were due on parts of the train. So it happens more than you might think ;). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Correct, Loco-hauled carriages do not have this...

What stock "should" operate Liverpool-Norwich services?

In my opinion. I think there is still a future for push-pull trains but we need a different design for the carriages and the cab car at the other end. Something designed along the lines of the Class 700 would be ideal as the carriages are designed for fast boarding/alighting. So I think a rake...

What stock "should" operate Liverpool-Norwich services?

I rode one of those units when I was in Ireland back in 2011 and I have to agree with you on that mate. They sound very much like a Class 170/185 when powering up when I caught one back into Dublin ;). I was thinking to myself, why can't East Midlands Trains use these on the Liverpool -...
