    Question about depots and transport

Some TOCs provide taxis to work for you. FCC do at Blackfriars, anyway. At King's Cross/St Pancras there is a car park.

Letter from Greater Anglia prosecution unit

Hi Chris, i'm a bit confused by this comment above. I assume you mean that you do tap in on entrance and do tap out on exit, just that you don't make the return journey on the same day? (ie - morning "tap in at Highams Park, tap out at Liverpool Street"; afternoon "get a lift home/cycle...

    Left stranded by TPE

Beautifully put and totally incorrect.

    Fcc managers interview

No prob. Well make sure you know the bits I put in the other post then and as A-driver says, little bits about the company. Obviously enough to seem interested and enthusiastic, without going over the top and sounding mad you will definitely sound mad if you list all their stations and stopping...

Train fine/prosecution for not producing a ticket?

I can see your point though I think if it was a civil debt then it is harder to enforce than a fine issued by the court, though by no means impossible. Also (at the risk of starting a big argument) some people who fail to buy tickets and are prosecuted are really afraid of ending up in court...

    First Capital Connect Prosecution

Having travelled on a 313 on Friday and finally looked to see where these doors between the cabs are that are being referred to in this debacle, I am genuinely amazed that anyone could fail to understand that they were not supposed to be in there! I think A-driver is totally right. If we want...

    Bicycles on barred trains

I agree! Sadly they won't let me on with my bike at rush hour but you can take your buggy on! Ah well. I guess a bicycle isn't really an essential. Your luggage for holiday might be! ;)

    Fcc managers interview

What is the job you are being interviewed for? An actual manager's position? Or the "manager's interview" in relation to train driver/RPI/apprentice scheme etc? Or something totally different? Either way, I wouldn't expect them to ask you to relay every station in their franchise! I would...

    New qualified Driver

Rest day working is split evenly where i'm at. So if you've done 10 rest days and someone else has done 9, they would get offered it (unless someone else who has done 7 wanted to work it - you get the picture!)

Train fine/prosecution for not producing a ticket?

The reason they have this law is as DaveNewcastle says, to try and stem the flow of lost revenue from people leaving a station and failing to buy tickets. Imagine a station where there are no barriers/no ticket staff. People could just walk out of the station on arrival having said they were...

    Left stranded by TPE

Staff not knowing what seem like the basics are my concerns as usual!

    Debt Recovery and Prosecutions Unit

I didn't mention that as I assumed not due to no mention by the OP but a very valid point! Ah well - the letters gone now...

    Southeastern... suspicious letter...

Yep, definitely. Then SE are aware of the issue/situation and if it is a phishing scam then they at least know about it.

New LED customer information screens for 13 Greater Anglia Stations Question

I'm glad it's not just me that finds it annoying there! Trying to read departures and finding the special Information - always keep your belongings with you... page keep flashing up.

TfL possibly taking over more London routes - April announcement?

Likewise with the northbound services, often 3-4 mins (or plenty more!) late at Blackfriars...

    Selection Tests Changing..

How about counting out loud backwards from 10,000?! I'm sure there are plenty of tests that could be devised that would require greater concentration than the GB but I'm confused as to why the GB is seen as such a flawed test? It was pretty clear at my assessment day that it was good...

    Southeastern... suspicious letter...

You could try this, though I fear that platform/ticket office staff wouldn't really be able to help you on the matter. I defintiely feel your frustration. Do you still have the ticket from that day?

    Left stranded by TPE

This isn't a surprise. BTP will have most likely been asked to attend by the RPI because he told them you were being abusive. As far as BTP will have been concerned their role there was to make sure there was no breach of the peace and that the RPI got the details he required. Interestingly...

    Southeastern... suspicious letter...

This does sound pretty bizarre. Is there any way you could have left/lost anything on the train with your details on and someone could have used them. If you still have your ticket then I guess that they might have? I cannot imagine why South Eastern would need anything other than your Name...

    Debt Recovery and Prosecutions Unit

Absolutely - let them ask! Though the fact that the OP was running late is irrelevant if the ticket office was closed. No point digging a whole for yourself. ;)
