Is the rear first class no longer declassified on Sutton Loop, I went in to charge my phone and told by a member of staff this is the first class only section
Railway staff should have a semi decent understanding of routes or be able to search for a correct journey for a passenger.
Just been at Surrey Quays and a staff member was asked how to get to Norbury, the staff member said "our trains don't go there, go to Kings Cross there is a information...
I can confirm that neither the front or back section on the class 700 from Rainham are declassified.
I got on at Rochester and was told that as I had a standard ticket I was sitting in the wrong section.
(I was sitting in the rear first class)
Is Photography still not allowed here, I took a picture while standing on the escalator going down.
I was greeted by a member of staff at the bottom and was told "Photography is currently banned at this station for 6 months"
I was just using my phone, obviously no flash or tripod etc.
I'm guessing the ELL would have used the lower terminating platform at Willesden Junction.
Maybe one day they will extend from Peckham to Wimbledon as seen in the second image.
I have a cheap day return from Boundary Zone 3 to Chatham, Kent.
Am i allowed to make a break of journey on the return part at Strood. I was told earlier i might be liable for a penalty fare if caught leaving the station.
Just asked at Vauxhall at the ticket office for a new plastic ticket holder, i was told to buy a ticket or they was sold for £1.
Before the new franchise it was never a problem is this something new?
I have a zone 1-3 travel card and have bought from the ticket machine a "boundary zone 3 to Rochester"
The ticket inspector on the train said I needed to provide proof that I had a travel card on my card because they couldn't check Oyster cards.
He said I've been "let off this time" but...
One thing I don't understand, would the key stop working if thameslink or great northern lose the franchise and another operator takes over.
Surely there should be just one national card?
