Another alternative would be to make Broadmead ‘set down only’ for buses terminating at the Centre (m3, m4, T1, Y1 and Y2), so if they are running early (and after changing drivers if required) they could continue without ‘waiting for time’.

But that doesn’t apply to the T1, which, if running on time, drops on one side of Colston Avenue on the Centre, then waits to run empty via Broad Quay back to the stop on the other side of the road. And there’s plenty of sheltered seating at the outbound stop for waiting outbound passengers.

I agree with you about changing drivers at Broadmead. Presumably it’s because it’s the nearest stop to the bus station where they are based, but as it’s only about another three minutes walk from there to the Centre, I don’t see why the driver change couldn’t take place there.

To be fair, as m-tickets can be used on the bus, it could be argued that the signs referring to them are still relevant.

That’s a useful bit of information. I also use Parkway North as it’s the closest to my home (although WESTlink thinks Hunts Ground Road is), and if going to/from Yate I thought I would need to walk to Bristol Parkway. Of course, actually finding a WESTlink was available would be a bonus.

I noticed today that 36804 has been repainted from aquae to generic metrobus (red & grey) colours, although at present it doesn’t carry any branding.

Note they’re now showing the right route number Y2C, as opposed to 622 last week. Also they are now able to collect fares. Also, the timetable for the 768 is now showing on bustimes.org (under Westlink); last week it was missing, despite being on Traveline South West.
