"Being trafficked" and "being stuck in traffic" are two quite different things! On balance of probabilities, I would suggest it significantly more like that the person was picked up and then stuck in traffic.

I still think of a platform clock as one that you sit by and hear it go "CLACK!" every second, with more clacks on the minute, and the hour is truly "clacky"

I suppose someone could try to argue that their position is a "fixed false belief that persists despite evidence to the contrary and are disconnected from cultural or religious norms" But that might be a bit of a stretch Edit: and that is a symptom, not a diagnosis
