Bakerl0.0 line - new TFL advertising

I was going to ask about this yesterday. Saw a picture of a Bakerl0.0 sign, came here to see if it was being discussed (or was real). Saw another picture just now and checked. They're learning from the Balfour Beatty Street? Blueberry Street? Whatever it was thing, which is a good thing. To get...

You wouldn't drink port if it turned green

Great British Railways: Station identity and livery unveiling (09/12/25)

So... This is a long thread already and I have skipped bits of it. Interesting idea, poor execution? It would be interesting to see an NSE/this hybrid - GBR angles at the front going into static stripes

Great British Railways: Station identity and livery unveiling (09/12/25)

Would a mostly dark blue livery with a horizontal red and white stripe, perhaps with diagonal stripes at the end be in keeping with the union flag motif, without actively being a flag waving effort?

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

I'm getting lost again. They went to court. Skipped the other hearings. Got an arrest warrant. That was then executed the day before one trial, taking them to yet another court, so they didn't attend the case happening the same day in a different court. (I'm guessing that "I was nicked and in...

Gatwick Express stock re-badged to Southern

And again I wonder how they are dealing with tickets enforcement? If you have people not board the red stopper and get on the non-red express that comes?

TfL are prosecuting a woman for walking the wrong way on an escalator

How do you accidentally walk against the motion of an escalator? Daily Mail ragebait?

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

I'm not suggesting you were trespassing - from my lens. From theirs - who knows. If they consider the platform to be "their property", then the act of using the train might be trespass in their eyes? Obviously none of that would apply to a rational mind, but watching this from the outside keeps...

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

"This guy has been STALKING us at court, turning up to our house, and it was all a PLOT for him to STEAL it from us!"

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

I had wondered if you would end up on their radar. And I'm guessing this can feed right back to the initial dispute? "styles is on our property!" "No, I was on the station platform." "Exactly! Our property!"

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

I kinda forgot about the warrant - let's say the police haven't executed it by then, what happens when they step foot in court on Thursday?

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

Did they have to travel over just to be told to come back then as well?

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

I'm noticing a lot of em-dashes, some very flowery language, a small amount of rule-of-three, but no "Not X but Y" in that. It reads like LLM waffle, but doesn't smell right for it. But doesn't smell right for coherent discourse either

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

What are the likely outcomes if they fail to attend, or do some kind of mild shenanigans in court?

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

"Being trafficked" and "being stuck in traffic" are two quite different things! On balance of probabilities, I would suggest it significantly more like that the person was picked up and then stuck in traffic.

Train surfers riding on the outsides of trains.

Funnily enough, I saw this for the first time today. Image is a photograph of stickers on an Overground train: "Danger risk of death" and "Do not ride on outside of train"

    New clock unveiled

    New clock unveiled

I still think of a platform clock as one that you sit by and hear it go "CLACK!" every second, with more clacks on the minute, and the hour is truly "clacky"

Altnabreac station and the various legal disputes around it

I suppose someone could try to argue that their position is a "fixed false belief that persists despite evidence to the contrary and are disconnected from cultural or religious norms" But that might be a bit of a stretch Edit: and that is a symptom, not a diagnosis
