The Navigators
It is about a P/Way gang in the Sheffield/South Yorkshire area around 1994/1995 and how they handled the change from BR to Privatisation.
If you thought that some of the situations were funny then I remember seeing the same situations around the same...

Here in the South East a few closures (since 1948) that I feel that were justified-
East Kent Railway Shepherds Well- Wingham- served a rural area with many stations a long way from places they are named to serve.
Appledore- New Romney- (The only Beeching closure in Kent)- Mainly used for a few...
Hampden Park-
for example a Brighton to Hastings train calls at the down platform for passengers, then goes to Eastbourne where it reverses and then calls at the up platform before going to Hastings.

At some car parks operated by APCOA in the Southern area not only can you pay on the day but up to 24 hours after you enter the car park.
Polar Express which is running at several railways around the country.
I have only actually seen it at the Spa Valley Railway but the format is the same elsewhere. See films on "youtube".
Do consider that the direct line between Ashurst Junction and Birchden Junction was not opened for passenger traffic until 1914. Prior to that trains would had to reverse at Groombridge or Tunbridge Wells West. In answer to your question -it is doubtful.
Also consider that even after 1914 trains...

Uckfield new station (opened in 1991 north of the level crossing) was built on the site of the old down line.
This was built after the line was singled and the old station south of the level crossing was closed.

I was recently given the newly published book " Uckfield's Railway- Truimph and Tragedy by Brian Hart" which exposes the truth behind the closure of the line between Uckfield- Lewes. It proved the combined pressure by East Sussex and Department of Transport wanting the line closed to build the...
I agree that East Grinstead to Three Bridges should also have been kept. Grange Road station serving Crawley Down has greatly expanded since closure. Housing development has now covered the former trackbed through the village/town. Rowfant station would remain closed is it was situated in an...
