    I never mentioned or would not like to see driver changes in Central London. I like to see Brighton men working through to Bedford and Bedford men working through to Brighton. With nationalisation everyone will work for same company as a team.

    Yes- they did in BR days- I was working on the Southern Region during the 1980s and 1990s 1775938952 It was Network SouthEast but still operating over BR regions. I worked for BR Southern Region in 1980s and 1990s.

    I agree with "358" that fares on Merseyside are far, far cheaper than here in the South East. It costs more than £6,50 just to park your car for a day at my local station or town car park. Normal bus fare (not £3 cap) of around £4 would take you about 2 miles.
